Family Affair Productions

In his studio, only the best is good enough.

“The only guitar and microphone cables we use at Family Affair Productions are by KLOTZ. They’re so reliable and rugged, and most important of all, they enhance audio quality. We’re all fans of KLOTZ here at Family Affair!”

– Julian Bunetta

Family Affair’s name is what it’s all about – this production company truly is a family concern, founded by Julian Bunetta, one of the hottest songwriters in the pop industry, together with father Peter and brother Damon.

He could hardly have chosen any other career than the music business, with his father one of L.A.’s most sought-after drummers and producers.

Peter Bunetta worked with artists including Smokey Robinson, Patti LaBelle, The Temptations, Ringo Starr and Tina Turner, with sales of the albums he has appeared on topping 75 million.

Julian Bunetta practically grew up in the studios of L.A.; his earliest childhood memories include impressions from Conway Studio and the Village Recorder.

His parents filmed him drumming along to pop songs at the age of three, “getting into a pretty good groove”.

Bunetta honed his craft in Boston at Berklee College of Music before immediately hitting the big time with a songwriter deal offer from Warner Bros.

He wrote songs for the UK reality TV music competition “The X Factor” and its winners Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke as well as for the teen stars of One Direction, composing the majority of the songs on their album “Midnight Memories”.

Bunetta now also has a songwriting deal with Universal Music. And a partnership with KLOTZ – for cables.
