Every series of our copper cable family undergoes crimp pull testing to test the tensile strength of their crimp connections.

All pre-made copper cables and cable systems run through automated computer-controlled contact resistance tests prior to delivery, as an ongoing assurance of quality.

We have developed special test procedures for the highly sensitive area of fibre optic cable production.
A 2-dimensional surface analysis is performed on all pre-made fibre-optic cables, using a video microscope with up to 400x magnification. The automatic fault detection sensor pinpoints the tiniest scratches, grinding marks, epoxy residues or impurities.

A professional 3-dimensional assessment of the terminal geometry is supplied by an interferometer, which delivers high-precision measurements of ferrule curvature, any imperfections in the mating of the fibres inside the connector, and the centring of the fibre. All parameters are inspected according to international standards and an automatic pass/fail result is delivered for the test piece.

The optical attenuation of the finished cable is measured in line with IEC standards. Attenuation ratings are used to inspect compliance with the "power loss budget" of optical signal distribution.
